What will you do?

You will be responsible for overseeing the professional growth, performance, and well-being of our software development teams. You’ll ensure our engineers have the necessary support, resources, and guidance to excel while aligning their efforts with our company’s goals.

In this role, you will also take charge of governance, change management, budget planning, and resource allocation. Your leadership will help build a high-performing, engaged, and innovative development teams.

Key Responsibilities

People & Team Leadership

• Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support career development.

• Hire, onboard, and mentor new team members, ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
• Promote a strong team culture that aligns with our company values and fosters collaboration.
• Resolve personnel issues in coordination with HR and key stakeholders.
  

Team & Resource Management

• Ensure development teams follow established processes, standards, and best practices.

• Manage team budgets, allocating resources effectively to maximize productivity.
• Balance workloads and assignments to match technical skills and career aspirations.
• Build and maintain the right team competencies to support Agile and DevOps principles.
  

Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration

• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication.
• Organize regular team meetings to address concerns, align on goals, and share updates.
• Foster a culture of shared ownership and teamwork, driving collective success.
  

Development Process Optimization

• Implement and maintain Agile, DevSecOps, and Lean Development practices.
• Streamline development processes for consistency and alignment with business priorities.
• Encourage cross-functional collaboration with a "one-product" mindset.
• Stay updated with the latest software development trends and best practices.
  

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Identify and implement improvements in software development processes.
• Analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) and make data-driven decisions.
• Drive a culture of learning, experimentation, and innovation.
