The Payroll Consultant is responsible for delivering high-quality outsourced business services that support clients in their daily operations. Acting as an integrated part of the client’s team, the role focuses on executing customer-specific tasks with precision, maintaining service quality, and ensuring business continuity. Our outsourcing offering spans a range of services—such as accounts receivable, supplier invoice handling, payroll administration, and reporting support. Each service area comes with its own processes, tools, and quality requirements, and the role may vary depending on the scope of delivery. With a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to service level agreements, the Payroll Consultant plays a key role in enabling clients to focus on their core business. The role also contributes to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and deliver services in a scalable and professional manner.
What will you do?
- Execute client-defined processes accurately and in line with service contracts, SLAs, and quality standards.
- Serve as the operational point of contact, ensuring clear communication, proactive issue resolution, and strong client relationships.
- Manage incoming cases, process deviations, and service requests by following established routines and escalating when needed.
- Monitor service performance, track key KPIs, and provide clients with regular updates, reports, and operational insights.
- Identify and propose improvements to increase process efficiency, service quality, and alignment with client goals.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address service-impacting issues and ensure seamless delivery.
- Maintain accurate service records, track time, and manage invoicing in compliance with contractual obligations.
- Contribute to internal best practices for scalable, high-quality, and continuously improving service operations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years experience as payroll consultant or payroll in related field
- Strong service mindset with a focus on delivering value, efficiency, and high-quality outcomes for clients.
- Skilled in problem-solving, process improvement, and adapting to diverse client needs and changing priorities.
- Clear, professional communicator with the ability to manage client interactions and provide timely updates.
- Detail-oriented and accurate in executing client-specific tasks, supported by effective time management and multitasking.
- Familiar with business systems (e.g., ERP, SaaS), SLAs, and service metrics for monitoring and optimizing performance.
- Experienced in outsourced service delivery, including BPO or managed services, with knowledge of change management practices.
- Industry understanding in sectors like construction, finance, or technology to support operational alignment.
- Competent in specific service areas such as accounts receivable/payable, payroll administration, and reporting support.
