About the role
We’re looking for a highly skilled SSC Financial Controller to strengthen our finance team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of period-end closings, statutory coordination, and group reporting activities—ensuring quality, compliance, and clarity across our local entities.
🚀 What will you do?
- Own and manage local entity accounts and reporting, both Group and statutory.
- Review and sign off on reconciliations and financial statements.
- Perform complex period-end closing activities, including VAT and tax reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate group reporting in line with corporate procedures and local regulations.
- Provide controllership support and statutory coordination to subsidiaries.
- Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and respond promptly to queries.
- Provide expert guidance to Accounting Teams, especially during closing periods.
- Assist with external audit and escalate issues as needed.
- Continuously seek process improvement opportunities and contribute to optimization initiatives.
- Ensure up-to-date documentation (SOPs, manuals) aligned with corporate and legal standards.
- Create custom reports and analysis as requested by SSC senior management.
- Handle various operational and administrative ad-hoc tasks.
🧠 What you bring
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- 3+ years of experience in financial processes, ideally in Controlling or R2R.
- Strong understanding of accounting processes and principles.
- Working knowledge of financial accounting standards (e.g. IFRS, K3) and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office tools (especially Excel).
- Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Proactive, solution-driven, and eager to take ownership.
