About the role
We’re searching for a hands-on and strategic SSC Operations Manager to further build and lead our Shared Service Center operations. This is a key leadership role where you'll combine people management with process ownership, driving operational excellence and ensuring service delivery across finance and accounting teams. The position can be based in Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Linköping. Since the team is located in Linköping, you are expected to work from there at least three days per week.
🚀 What will you do?
- Manage day-to-day operations across accounting teams through direct leadership of Team Leaders.
- Act as people manager, coaching, motivating, and supporting talent development.
- Serve as process manager, overseeing finance & accounting processes and ensuring performance meets SLA expectations.
- Monitor and establish KPIs to track performance and optimize service delivery.
- Drive centralization and process optimization across entities in close cooperation with improvement teams.
- Address escalations and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead change management initiatives and contribute to SSC and global finance strategic goals.
- Recommend and implement action plans to mitigate risks and support business growth.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships within the organization.
- Coordinate and implement process improvement opportunities.
- Support and contribute to the financial planning of SSC.
🧠 What you bring
- A university degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
- 8+ years of experience in finance operations, with at least 3 years in leadership roles, ideally within a Shared Service Center environment.
- Solid knowledge of accounting processes, IFRS, K3, and ERP systems.
- Proven track record in people and performance management.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching, and leadership skills.
- Excellent command of English.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing capabilities.
- Results-driven mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Strong planning and prioritization abilities.
- Experience in finance transformation projects, system implementations, or project/process management is a plus.
- Experience in a (SaaS) software business is preferred
