We’re now hiring an AI Automation & Zendesk Specialist to join our
internal operations team and take ownership of the tools and systems
that power customer support and professional services – with Zendesk at
the core.
What You’ll Do
As AI Automation & Zendesk Specialist, your mission is to design,
implement and continuously improve AI-powered customer service
experiences. You’ll use Zendesk’s AI functionality (AI Agents, Copilot,
automations) to streamline workflows, reduce manual effort and create
scalable support models that integrate with our own SaaS products and
other key systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and deploying Zendesk AI workflows (AI Agents, Copilot,
macros, triggers, automations) to boost efficiency. - Building and optimizing integrations between Zendesk, our SaaS
products, and tools like Salesforce, Jira and CTI systems. - Partnering with Customer Support and Professional Services teams
to identify automation opportunities and translate them into
scalable solutions. - Maintaining clear documentation, governance and best practices
for AI-driven workflows and system usage. - Setting up and improving reporting and analytics (Zendesk
Explore/Analytics or BI tools) to track impact and performance. - Staying ahead of platform updates and AI advancements in
Zendesk and recommending proactive improvements. - (Optional but valuable) Expanding your scope to other CS/PS
systems beyond Zendesk over time.
Who You Are
You’re passionate about using AI and automation to make customer
operations smarter, faster, and more scalable. You have hands-on
experience with Zendesk (preferably AI features) and understanding how
customer-facing teams work – ideally in an international or multi-brand setup. You’re curious, structured and thrive on enabling others with
intelligent systems and processes
We think you’ll do well if you have:
- 2–3+ years of experience with Zendesk, ideally including AI Agents
and Copilot.
- Proven ability to design and manage automations, workflows and
system integrations. - Familiarity with customer service operations and ITIL-based
processes. - An analytical mindset with strong reporting/insights skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- (Nice to have) Experience with Salesforce, Jira, or other tools in the
CS/PS tech stack.
