What will you do?
As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will act as the technical authority on security operations, threat management, incident response, and compliance. You will collaborate closely with IT teams and compliance officers to strengthen security controls, mitigate risks, and enhance the company’s overall cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities:
🔒 Security Operations & Threat Management
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents.
- Implement and manage IDS/IPS, SIEM, and other cybersecurity tools.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Investigate breaches and lead incident response efforts.
⚖️ Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, GDPR, SOC2, NIST, and other frameworks.
- Conduct audits and risk assessments, providing actionable recommendations.
- Manage IAM policies and privileged access management (PAM).
📚 Security Awareness & Training
- Deliver training on phishing, data protection, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Develop security policies, playbooks, and SOPs.

Qualifications & Skills:
Technical Skills
• Security Tools: SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners.
• Threat Detection & Response: Incident response, malware analysis, threat intelligence.
• Cloud Security: Azure Defender or similiar.
• Identity & Access Management (IAM): Active Directory, Okta, AWS IAM.
• Network Security: Firewalls, VPN, zero trust architecture.
Soft Skills & Competencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Highly detail-oriented and proactive in identifying security risks.
Key Performance Indicators/KPIs:
• Mean Time to Detect (MTTD): Speed of identifying security threats.
• Mean Time to Respond (MTTR): Efficiency in mitigating security incidents.
• Vulnerability Remediation Rate: Percentage of vulnerabilities patched within SLA.
• Security Audit & Compliance Pass Rate: Adherence to regulatory and internal security standards.
