Marketing Event Project Manager

We are looking for a Marketing Event Project Manager to cover a maternity leave, with a strong focus on planning and delivering events. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of internal and external events, from staff gatherings and management meetings to large-scale customer conferences and trade fairs in Sweden.
The role requires strong project management skills, with the ability to manage several events in parallel, ensuring smooth execution, high quality, and consistent brand experience. You will collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and management teams, as well as external vendors and partners.
This role is a one-year maternity/temporary cover, with the possibility to be extended.
What will you do?
- Plan, coordinate, and execute different types of events: internal sales and marketing staff events, management meetups, customer conferences, and industry fairs.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and logistics for multiple events running in parallel.
- Handle relationships with external vendors, venues, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and professional delivery.
- Secure all practical details including invitations, registrations, travel arrangements, and follow-up activities.
Internal communication and coordination - Work closely with sales, marketing, and management teams to align event objectives and ensure stakeholder involvement.
- Organize regular planning and update meetings to keep all parties informed
Creative and brand support - Coordinate production of event-related materials, signage, presentations, and giveaways.
- Ensure all event experiences reflect the company’s brand and quality standards
Administrative support - Handle budgeting, scheduling, and reporting linked to events.
- Maintain event checklists and processes for smooth handover and repeatability.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, event management, or similar field.
- At least 2 years of experience in event planning or project management.
- Proven ability to manage several projects/events at once with high attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience working with vendors, budgets, and logistics.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, with good interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
- Comfortable working independently, making decisions under tight deadlines.
