Role Overview
Aceve is seeking two highly motivated and very experienced Senior Channel & Alliances Managers to drive business growth and strengthen our market presence across Europe. These roles will focus on building strategic partnerships, while executing tailored sales and marketing initiatives to achieve revenue and market share goals. Close collaboration cross country and cross-functional teams is required to ensure brand consistency and effective go-to-market execution.
These roles will focus on building strategic partnerships with regional distributors, technology & thought leaders, horizontal solutions and/or regional Sis, to drive market penetration in the diverse and highly competitive European market environment. This will include both help accelerate existing partners as well as recruit new ones that support Aceve Partnerships strategy.
We are seeking for one person to be based in Copenhagen and one in Stockholm.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand Aceve distributor channels (covering major markets such as Nordics, DACH and Benelux) to achieve high market coverage for our portfolio, including building a plan for which part(s) of the portfolio to work with per territory(ies) to maximize Aceve growth, based on your market and competitor knowledge and in close collaboration with our Product & Technology Teams.
- Ensure Aceve´s constant market share and visibility growth in the territory(ies) with new and upsell opportunities, across existing and new Customer segments, both via Aceve portfolio and via technology alliances with domain specific leaders.
- Strategic Partnership Development by Identifying, recruiting and onboarding new Partners & alliances aligned with Aceve´s GTM strategy, such as regional/pan-European Sis, IT Managed Services providers, Accountants, Financial System vendors, Unions, employee organizations, regulatory bodies, industry leaders and similar.Partner Portfolio Management incl. joint business planning, Exec QBRs, and recommendations for territory assignments, incentive structures and/or engagement models’ optimisation to achieve the 1+1=3 effect.
- Manage the partners’ relationships, owning executive-level relationships and executing strategically important joint initiatives aligned with the territory(ies) strategy, in close collaboration with our Product & Marketing teams. This includes understand the competitive landscape to ensure Aceve remains a ‘partner-of-choice’ and proactively present recommendations of how to stimulate business growth
- Build and/or grow your reputation as an industry expert and establish relationships with potential partners and key decision-makers in the industry, attend industry events and present the benefits of the Aceve portfolio where required. Serve as a regional expert while keeping in mind our pan-European footprint.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 10+ years' experience in sales/ indirect/ channel partnerships in B2B SW (B2SMB is a plus), out of which 5+ years have been on a partnership role
- Used to work under high levels of productivity and work well with constant change, fast-paced environments, and the ambiguity of a high growth business environment supported by an established HQ team.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication skills, being able to connect with people at all levels of the organization, including executive team and/or the board, meeting and exceeding your stakeholders’ expectations (both internal and external stakeholders)
- Strong negotiation skills – to navigate complex commercial discussions to ensure the best outcome for both parties to nurture long-term relationships.
- Startup mindset: strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability, adaptable, proactive and ready to wear multiple hats. Organised self-started, capable of designing scalable new initiatives.
- Thriving in a fast-paced high-growth environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and innovative ways to approach new challenges
- Collaborative nature. High energy level, resilience and able to juggle among several open items and priorities without losing the smile.
- Social mastery, comfortable with travelling to partner or customers sites and industry events, and creating brand new relationships
- Analytical and data-driven, able to go from strategic tasks like researching a new market to daily systems hygiene like keeping the prospective partners and partners defined in our CRM (preferably Salesforce) and PRM systems (Impartner, kiflo, Allbound etc)
- Experience in Construction, Heavy Machinery and/or skilled trades, Accounting, Bookkeeping, SMB/Mid-Market ERP, and your own network of partners and/or experts that you have worked with over the years in the industry is a strong-plus.
- Professsional Fluency in English and the local language are a must
