About the role
We’re looking for a skilled and strategic Finance Business Partner to support our Product and Development organization. This role works closely with Product and Development leadership to drive financial performance, enable smart decision-making, and ensure financial planning is aligned with Aceve’s innovation and product development priorities.
What will you do?
- Partner with Product and Development Leadership: Support Product Directors, Product Managers, and Engineering Leads with financial analysis, insights, and guidance. Ensure alignment on investment, resource allocation, and strategic execution for product development and innovation.
- Planning & Forecasting: Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for R&D and Product teams. Translate product roadmaps and development plans into actionable financial models and scenarios.
- Business Case Support: Evaluate and build business cases for new product initiatives, technology investments, and innovation projects. Provide scenario modeling and investment recommendations to support go/no-go decisions.
- Performance Management: Define and track KPIs relevant to R&D and Product (e.g., development spend, project ROI, time-to-market). Deliver monthly reports and support performance reviews for these functions.
- Process Improvement: Enhance budgeting, reporting, and cost optimization processes within R&D and Product. Drive adoption of best practices in project costing, resource utilization, and financial governance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experienced finance professional with strong business and analytical skills; SaaS or subscription business model experience is a must.
- Background in financial planning, forecasting, and business partnering in fast-paced, international organizations — ideally in tech or product-driven environments.
- Strong data interpretation and presentation skills — able to translate complex insights into clear recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to support strategic investments in R&D and product development with financial analysis and business case modeling.
- Skilled communicator who can engage and influence across all levels, including senior stakeholders.
- Experience in process improvements, transformation projects, or deploying best practices.
- Familiar with tools such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Jira, or similar ERP/BI/CRM platforms.
- Thrives in dynamic and evolving environments; works well both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
