About the role
As part of our transformation journey, we’re building a world-class Shared Service Center (SSC) in Linköping to serve as the operational and cultural backbone of “One Aceve”.
We are now looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Record-to-Report (R2R) / Financial Control team in the SSC. This is a hands-on role where you will secure high-quality day-to-day accounting and month-end reporting for several group companies, while contributing to process improvements and automation as we grow.
Your base will be our office in Linköping.
As Financial Accountant, you will work closely with your colleagues in the SSC to ensure accurate, timely and compliant accounting and reporting for multiple legal entities. You’ll own day-to-day accounting activities, perform reconciliations, support month-end and year-end closings, and help prepare reports and analyses for Group Finance and local stakeholders.
This role is ideal for a structured and analytical finance professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment, is comfortable taking responsibility for their own entities and processes, and wants to grow in an international, tech-driven company.
Key responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting for one or more entities (journals, accruals, reclassifications, fixed assets, etc.)
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of balance sheet and P&L accounts
- Support and execute month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings in line with group timelines
- Prepare and review VAT, employer and other tax declarations, and ensure they reconcile to the general ledger
- Support in the preparation of annual reports and income tax returns in collaboration with external advisors and local finance
- Prepare internal reports and analyses for Group Finance, controllers and other stakeholders
- Contribute to standardization and documentation of R2R processes, controls and work instructions
- Identify and drive improvements and automation in tools and ways of working (e.g. in NetSuite and related systems)
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across AP, AR, Master Data, Group Finance and Business Units to secure smooth end-to-end flow
We believe you have:
- A post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar
- At least 2 years’ experience from independent work within accounting (e.g. as accountant, financial accountant or similar)
- Good skills in Excel and a high level of comfort working with data and reconciliations
- Experience from modern ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a strong plus
- Experience from a tech or SaaS company and/or multi-entity environment is meriting
- Strong attention to detail combined with a structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills in English; Swedish or another Nordic language is an advantage
