What you’ll be part of

At Aceve, we believe great products are built through collaboration, clarity, and shared ownership. We’re now looking for a Product Owner who thrives in the space between strategy and execution and who genuinely enjoys helping teams succeed together.

This role is not about individual heroics, it’s about enabling the collective success of a cross-functional product and development team.

As a Product Owner at Aceve, you’ll be an integral member of a collaborative product and development team delivering meaningful, high-impact product outcomes. You’ll turn product initiatives into clear, actionable work and support the team with whatever is needed to move forward, from clarifying priorities to removing obstacles and facilitating strong collaboration.

You’ll work closely with developers, QA, UX designers, Product Managers, and customer-facing teams, and you’ll engage directly with customers and stakeholders to ensure what we build truly solves real problems.

What you’ll do

• Act as a core team member, contributing to planning, discussions, and delivery activities.

• Translate product initiatives and epics into clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.

• Own and maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog aligned with customer value, business goals, and team capacity.

• Collaborate closely with developers and QA to ensure shared understanding of why and what we’re building.

• Support the team by answering questions, removing blockers, and providing clarity when needed.

• Engage with customers, users, and internal stakeholders to validate assumptions and inform priorities.

• Partner with the Product Manager to align backlog priorities with product strategy and success metrics.

• Contribute to continuous improvement, helping the team reflect, adapt, and improve how they work.

• Be flexible and proactive — stepping in where needed to help the team succeed.

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a SaaS or digital product environment.

• A solid understanding of Agile principles and the software development lifecycle.

• Strong collaboration skills and a mindset built around shared ownership and accountability.

• Confidence facilitating discussions that align technical, business, and user perspectives.

• Experience working with tools like Jira (or similar).

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• A structured, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.

• A customer-focused approach, with experience engaging users and stakeholders.

Nice to have (but not required):

• Experience from the construction or skilled trades industry.

• Experience working in distributed or remote teams.
