Sales Director – Own the New Business Engine at ACEVE

The Opportunity

This is a key role for ACEVE. As Sales Director, you will own new business growth in Sweden, driving the commercial agenda from end to end — from how we generate and qualify leads, to how we go to market, to how we close and land customers for long-term success. You will shape the strategy and live in the execution, with the authority and the platform to make a real difference.
This is not a role for someone looking to maintain the status quo. It's a role for a leader who has built high-performing SaaS sales organisations before, knows what great looks like, and is energised by the opportunity to do it again — at scale, with momentum behind them.
What You'll Do
Reporting to our Swedish Managing Director, you will lead sales managers across Net New Sales, SDR, Solution Specialists, and Specialty Sales — bringing the organisation together around one clear commercial direction.
Your key responsibilities:
Own ACEVE's new business commercial strategy — including segmentation, GTM execution, pipeline prioritisation, and conversion from qualified lead to closed-won
Build the structure, playbooks, and processes that allow the sales organisation to perform consistently and win at scale
Coach and develop your sales managers, setting a high bar for performance, accountability, and commercial rigour
Drive daily execution — pipeline reviews, deal coaching, forecast accuracy — while keeping the team focused on outcomes, not activity
Partner with Marketing on positioning and messaging that opens the right doors
Collaborate with Customer Success and Product to ensure new customers land well and are set up for long-term success
Contribute to Sales Leadership strategy and help shape how ACEVE sells across the organisation
Who You Are
You're a senior SaaS sales leader who has done this before. You've built and scaled commercial teams, driven new business growth in competitive markets, and created cultures where people are developed, held accountable, and proud of what they deliver.
You understand the full commercial picture — from demand generation and GTM strategy to daily coaching and CRM discipline — and you know how to connect the dots across all of it. You lead with clarity, act with urgency, and bring out the best in the people around you.
We're looking for someone who brings:
10+ years in sales within the software industry, including significant experience leading sales organisations focused on new business growth
A proven track record of building and developing high-performing teams — with strong coaching instincts and high standards
Deep familiarity with the full commercial engine: lead generation, GTM strategy, pipeline management, win rates, and ARR growth
The ability to create clarity from complexity — in strategy, process, and expectations
Experience reading and acting on commercial metrics with confidence and precision
Confidence operating in a scaling environment where things move fast and leadership matters
