Job description

Join Aceve’s international product development organization as a Senior Mobile Developer and play a key role in shaping and maintaining mobile solutions used in the construction industry. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone with strong Android expertise and sufficient iOS knowledge to confidently maintain and evolve the broader mobile codebase. You will take end-to-end technical ownership of the mobile area for the products in scope, working closely with Product, Design, and Engineering colleagues across multiple countries. Our mobile applications are used in real field environments and need to provide a reliable and intuitive user experience under demanding conditions, including offline usage, varying connectivity, and real-time updates.

What you’ll do:

> Take end-to-end technical ownership of the mobile applications within the product area

> Develop and maintain the Android application using Kotlin

> Develop and maintain the iOS application using Swift

> Build features that support both online and offline workflows

> Ensure high usability, performance, stability, and maintainability across the mobile solutions

> Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality functionality > Collaborate in Agile processes including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives

> Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions for the mobile applications

> Implement automated testing and participate in code reviews > Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines

> Use augmented AI development practices as a natural part of software design, implementation, debugging, and delivery

> Participate in knowledge sharing and help raise the overall engineering quality in the area

What we’re looking for:

> Strong professional experience in software development, with solid hands-on experience in native mobile app development

> Strong experience in Android development using Kotlin

> Good working knowledge of iOS development using Swift

> Ability to work independently and take ownership of a mobile domain in a senior engineering role

> Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, such as MVVM

> Experience working with RESTful APIs

> Proven experience working in an augmented AI development workflow

> Fluent in both spoken and written English Nice to have:

> Experience with Firebase > Experience with SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose

> Knowledge of reactive programming frameworks such as RxSwift, RxKotlin, Combine, or similar

> Experience with Google Cloud Platform

> Experience with CI/CD pipelines

> Experience with automated testing

> Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
